Peggy'S Mexican Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (6 1/2 oz.) bags tortilla chips, crushed
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. sour cream
    1 can chopped green chilies
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
    3/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except cheese and 1/2 of chips. Place in 9 x 12-inch pan.
    Top with cheese and remaining chips. Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
