Mincemeat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. meat (beef or deer hamburg)
    4 qt. apples, cored and peeled
    3 lb. brown sugar
    4 tsp. cloves
    8 tsp. cinnamon
    2 lb. raisins
    2/3 gal. apple cider
Preparation
    Cook meat.
    Drain.
    Grind meat and apples in food grinder or blender.
    If using a blender, alternate meat and apples and add cider.
    When all ground, add remaining ingredients.
    Cook again until raisins swell.
    Cool and freeze in containers.
    Use approximately 2 cups for one pie.
