Homemade Pretzels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. warm water
    1 cake yeast
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    4 c. flour
    1 egg
    coarse salt
Preparation
    Dissolve the yeast in warm water.
    Next add salt and sugar. Blend in flour.
    Knead dough until smooth.
    Cut into small pieces. Roll in ropes and twist into shapes.
    Place on lightly greased cookie sheets.
    Brush the pretzels with a beaten egg.
    Finally, sprinkle with coarse salt.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
