French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 thick slices white bread with the crusts cut off
    4 eggs
    4 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. oil
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Break eggs into a dish and beat them well.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Heat butter and oil in a frying pan.
    It should be hot but not smoking.
    Dip slices of bread in egg.
    Let any extra egg drain back into dish.
    Fry the bread slices on both sides until they are crisp and golden brown.
    Eat French toast while it is hot with sugar sprinkled on top.
    Yummy!
