Vidalia Onion Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. saltine cracker crumbs
1/4 c. melted oleo
2 1/2 c. thinly sliced Vidalia onions
2 Tbsp. oleo
2 eggs
3/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
1/4 c. shredded cheese
1 pie shell
Preparation

Combine cracker crumbs and 1/4 cup oleo together.
Saute onions and 2 tablespoons of oleo until tender, but not browned. Put onions into the pie shell.
Combine next 4 ingredients; mix well and pour over the onions.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Serve immediately in pie shaped servings.
