Seven-Minute Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. water
    2 tsp. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    In top of double boiler, combine egg whites, sugar, salt, water and syrup.
    Put over boiling water and beat with electric mixer for 7 minutes until mixture will stand in stiff peaks.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Spread over layers.
