Anise Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. sugar
    1 c. white syrup
    3/4 c. water
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 1/2 tsp. anise oil
    1 1/2 tsp. food coloring
Preparation
    Boil sugar, syrup, water and cream of tartar to 295\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
    Remove from heat and add anise and food coloring. Pour on greased cookie sheet.
