Barbara'S Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. self-rising flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. oil
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. chopped apples
    1 c. nuts (pecans)
Preparation
    Mix the flour, sugar, salt and cinnamon in one bowl.
    In another bowl, mix the oil, eggs and vanilla.
    Combine the contents of both bowls and add the apples and nuts.
    The dough will be very stiff!
    Pour into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until done.
    Let cake cool for 15 minutes, then turn cake out of pan.
