Shoo-Fly Molasses Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    2 sticks margarine or butter
    1 c. Brer Rabbit molasses (green label)
    2 c. real warm water
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Place the flour, sugar and margarine or butter in a large bowl.
    Cream together thoroughly to make crumbs.
    Set aside 1 cup of crumbs to sprinkle over top of cake.
    Place the molasses, warm water and baking soda in another bowl.
    Blend together.
    Add liquid mixture to crumbs.
    Place in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top of cake.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 45 minutes.
