Funnel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    3/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, milk and egg.
    Mix until smooth.
    Heat 1-inch oil in pan.
    Holding finger over opening, fill with 1/4 cup batter and then pour into oil, using a circular motion to form a 4-inch spiral.
    Fry until golden brown, turning once. Drain on
    paper towels.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm with jelly or preserves, if desired.
