Hot Water Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. lard (very soft)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. boiling water
    3 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
Place the lard and salt in a large bowl and heat a bit with a tablespoon until lard is softened.
Pour boiling water over the lard and blend again.
Let mixture cool to room temperature, but stir often so water and lard won't separate.
Stir in the flour and form mixture into a ball.
Chill for several hours or overnight, then let the dough sit out at room temperature for about 30 minutes before rolling out.
