Strawberry Freezer Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. crushed strawberries
    4 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 pkg. powdered fruit pectin
Preparation
    Combine fruit and sugar.
    Let stand 10 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Bring to a boil pectin and water; boil rapidly for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Add berries and stir for about 2 minutes.
    Pour into containers, leaving at least 1-inch at top.
    Cover.
    Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour. Refrigerate until set.
    Store in freezer.
    Refrigerate after opened.
    Yield: 5 pints.
