Peanut Butter Crisscrosses(Makes 4 Dozen) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 beaten eggs
1 c. peanut butter (chunky)
3 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking ammonia
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. coconut
Preparation

Mix butter, Crisco and sugar well; add baking ammonia.
Beat for 20 minutes (important).
Add flour, salt and vanilla.
Fold in coconut.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Cookies are very light in color.
Do not remove from pan immediately or they will crumble.
