Stewed Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 fresh crookneck squash
    1 chopped onion
    2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
Preparation
    Wash and slice squash; put in large pot.
    Add all ingredients. Cook squash until tender. If water cooks out before squash is tender, add more.
