Self-Filled Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. two layer chocolate cake mix
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 egg
    dash of salt
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Mix cake according to package directions.
    Fill paper cups in muffin tins 2/3 full.
    Combine the cream cheese with the sugar, beat in the egg and salt.
    Stir in the chocolate chips.
    Drop one rounded teaspoonful of the cheese mixture into each cupcake.
    Bake as package directs.
