Cherry-Cola Congealed Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 can pie cherries
2 pkg. cherry jello
1 (12 oz.) cola
1 can crushed pineapple
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Boil sugar, water and cherries.
Remove from heat as soon as it comes to boiling point.
Add jello.
Cool slightly.
Add cola slowly, pineapple and pecans.
Put in refrigerator and let congeal. Serve with mayonnaise or whipped cream.
