7 Minute Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1 1/2 c. sugar (white)
    1/3 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Mix all
    together in top of double boiler and cook over boiling
    water,
    beating
    with
    electric
    mixer,
    until stiff. Remove from
    boiling
    water
    and
    add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 3 tablespoons powdered sugar.
    Beat until stiff enough to spread on cake.
    Will be enough icing for a 2 layer cake.
