Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick margarine
1/2 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
5 egg yolks
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
5 egg whites, beaten stiff
Preparation

Cream margarine and Crisco.
Add sugar.
Beat until smooth. Add egg yolks.
Combine flour and soda.
Add to creamed mixture alternating with milk.
Add flavoring, nuts and coconut.
Fold in beaten egg whites.
Bake at 350\u00b0 in a sheet cake pan or 3 (8-inch) cake pans for 25 to 30 minutes.
