Teriyaki Marinade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. soy sauce
    3/4 c. brown or white sugar
    2 Tbsp. sherry or bourbon (optional)
    2 Tbsp. sesame or vegetable oil
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    Fresh or dry ginger to taste
    3-4 green onions, chopped
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together in a sealable plastic bag or a glass dish. Add meat (chicken, pork or beef) and marinate for 2-24 hours.
