Peking Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. corn oil
    1 lb. medium shrimp, cleaned
    1 small tomato, cut in wedges
    1/2 c. green pepper, sliced
    1/3 c. dark corn syrup
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. dry sherry
    2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 tsp. ground ginger
Preparation
    In large skillet, heat corn oil over medium-high heat.
    Add shrimp.
    Cook, stirring occasionally, about 3 minutes.
    Stir in tomatoes and green peppers.
    Stir together remaining ingredients. Add to skillet.
    Stirring constantly, bring to boil over medium heat and boil 1 minute.
    Serve over cooked rice.
