Kosher Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    cucumbers
    fresh dill
    fresh garlic
    hot peppers
    water
    cider vinegar
    canning salt
Preparation
    To each quart jar, add 1 head of dill, 2 or 3 cloves garlic, 1 hot pepper and cucumbers (whole).
    Cover with a mixture of 2 quarts water, 1 quart vinegar and 1 cup salt.
    Bring this mixture to a boil before adding.
    Seal and allow to stand 4 to 6 weeks before using.
