Canned Green Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 (5 gal.) pail green beans
canning salt
Preparation

Snap, string and wash beans.
Put jar lids and rings in boiling water.
Put 2 quarts hot water in canner on medium-high. Pack beans tightly in sterilized quart jars.
Add 1 teaspoon salt. Cover with hot water to top of beans and slide butter knife down inside of jars to get rid of bubbles.
Seal jars and place in canner. Turn on high.
Place lid on cooker.
