Biscochitos - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 cups flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 cups lard or Crisco
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    2 tsp. anise seed
    2 eggs
    1/4 cup brandy
    1/4 cup sugar
    1 tbsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Sift together dry ingredients. Cream together sugar, shortening, and anise seeds until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Mix in flour mixture and brandy. Turn dough out onto floured board and roll to 1/2 to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into shapes (The fleur-de-lis is traditional). Dust with sugar and cinnamon mix. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
