Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. sliced strawberries (fresh or frozen)
    2 c. sugar, divided
    3 c. light cream
    3 c. heavy cream
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Sprinkle strawberries with half the sugar. Mix creams, remaining sugar, extracts and salt. Freeze until partially frozen. Stir in sugared fruit and continue to freeze.
