Scottish Oat Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sugar
2 c. rolled oats
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. peanuts
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. boiling water
2 c. bran flakes
Preparation

Add soda to boiling water.
Let stand until cool.
Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, bran flakes, rolled oats and sugar.
Roll out thin on a floured board.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 5 minutes on bottom shelf, then 5 minutes on top shelf.
