Boiled Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 qt. milk
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
8 whole eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix milk, sugar and salt in large saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is almost ready to boil. Add eggs, which have been beaten until foamy throughout.
Continue beating until mixture coats spoon (about 10 minutes).
Remove from heat.
Add vanilla and cool.
