Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
    1 1/2 c. sweet milk
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
    3 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cocoa, Karo, milk and salt.
    Cook, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
    Continue cooking without stirring until candy forms soft ball in cold water.
    Remove from heat, add margarine and let candy cool.
    When lukewarm, add vanilla and beat until thick and creamy.
    When candy holds shape when dropped from a spoon, add nuts.
    Pour into a buttered dish.
