Glorified Graham Crackers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

15 graham crackers (to fill a 13 x 9 pan)
1/2 c. almond slices or chopped nuts
3/4 c. butter or margarine
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

Arrange crackers in bottom of a well-buttered 13 x 9-inch pan. Sprinkle with nuts. Combine butter and brown sugar in a saucepan; boil hard for 3 minutes (burns easily; stir constantly). Stir in extract. Pour carefully over crackers. Sprinkle with chips. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until bubbly all over. Cut or break into small squares while warm. Store in covered container in refrigerator.
