*Roast Leg Of Lamb With Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    leg of lamb (5 to 6 lb.)
    4 to 6 cloves garlic
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 c. hot water
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Place meat in roasting pan. Rub meat with lemon juice and seasonings.
    Place garlic slivers in pocket slits in lamb.
    Roast at 450\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Lower heat to 350\u00b0 and add hot water. Roast at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes per pound.
    Add additional water as needed.
    Add potatoes about 1 hour before lamb is cooked. Baste potatoes and turn 2 or 3 times.
