Three Egg Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. cold water
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Separate eggs; beat yolks with cold water in deep quart measure until nearly reaches top.
    Add sugar, flour, salt and vanilla; beat after each addition.
    Add baking powder; beat again lightly.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
    This makes 2 (9-inch) layers or a good size angel cake pan.
    Make sure bowl which egg whites are beaten in is free of grease to insure stiffness of egg whites.
