1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. fig preserves
Preparation

Bake in sheet cake pan.
While cake is still hot, prepare icing.
