Strawberry Icebox Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. vanilla wafers
1 stick butter, divided
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 qt. strawberries, cut in half
1 pt. whipping cream

Preparation

Crush wafers to make crumbs.
Melt half of butter and mix with the crumbs.
Spread about 2/3 of crumbs firmly in bottom of a 9 x 3-inch pan.
