Dr. Bird Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs, slightly beaten
2 c. bananas (3), cut into cubes
1/8 tsp. salt (optional)
