Asparagus And Chicken Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 c. chicken stock
1 large chicken breast
1 bunch fresh asparagus
4 tsp. cornstarch
3 Tbsp. cold water
2 1/2 Tbsp. dry sherry
2 eggs, beaten
Preparation

Heat stock.
Cut chicken into small pieces.
After asparagus is cooked, cut into small pieces.
Save 1 cup of water to add to chicken stock.
Add chicken and boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Mix cornstarch with cold water and add to soup, stirring constantly.
Add sherry.
Slowly add beaten eggs and asparagus.
Heat through.
