Cherry Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 3/4 c. flour
    3/4 c. milk
    6 eggs
    2 sticks margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. almond
    5 oz. jar cherries, chopped
Preparation
    Cream butter,
    Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time and beat
    well after each one. Stir cherries into flour and add alternately
    with milk.
    Add flavoring.
    Pour into well greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes.
