Ham Pea Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. split green peas
    3 slices ham, cubed
    12 c. water or broth
    1 c. sliced carrots
    2 c. diced potatoes
    1 Tbsp. diced onion
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 Tbsp. seasoned salt
Preparation
    Add all ingredients but potatoes in a large pot.
    Cook on medium-high heat for 1 hour.
    Stir frequently.
    Add more water if needed.
    Reduce to medium-low heat for 1 1/2 hours.
    Add potatoes. Stir occasionally.
    Ready in 15 more minutes.
