Cardamom Flavored Easter Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. water
2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 eggs, beaten
8 to 9 c. white flour
1/2 c. melted butter
7 to 8 crushed cardamom seeds or 1 tsp. ground cardamom
Preparation

Mix yeast, sugar, salt, 2 cups of flour and cardamom in a large bowl.
Heat water and milk to 130\u00b0.
Add flour mixture and eggs; beat until smooth.
Add remainder of flour and the melted butter.
Stir by hand until stiff dough forms.
Let rest under inverted bowl for 15 minutes, then knead for 10 minutes.
Place in lightly greased bowl and let rise for 1 hour, punch down and let rise for 30 minutes.
