Strawberry Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
2 Tbsp. strawberry preserves
1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Drain berries; reserve syrup.
Add water to syrup to measure 1 cup.
In small saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch.
Gradually add strawberry syrup, stirring until smooth.
Over low heat, slowly bring to boiling, stirring, until mixture is thickened and translucent.
Remove from heat.
Stir in strawberries and strawberry preserves.
Stir until preserves are melted. Refrigerate until cold.
Makes 1 1/3 cups.
