Almond Brickle(Can Be Made On The Run) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. toasted almonds, chopped
    1 c. (2 sticks) butter
    1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    11 1/2 oz. bag chocolate morsels
Preparation
    Sprinkle almonds in a well-greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Melt butter in a large, heavy saucepan, over medium heat.
    Stir in brown sugar until dissolved.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly for 7 minutes.
    Pour over almonds.
    Cool 5 minutes.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips over top.
    Let stand 5 minutes until morsels become shiny and soft; spread evenly over top.
    When cool, refrigerate 20 minutes to set chocolate.
