Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 c. diced onions
1 c. diced green peppers
1 lb. dry pinto beans
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
2 crushed garlic cloves
2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes
2 to 3 Tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. each salt, oregano and paprika
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. sweet basil
1 tsp. sugar
Preparation

Soak beans in cold water overnight. Parboil 15 minutes in the morning. Cook ground beef, onion and green peppers until lightly browned.
Drain beans. Add to ground beef mixture.
Add balance of ingredients and cook in crock-pot for several hours.
