Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 to 3 c. sugar
2/3 c. cocoa
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 to 3/4 c. peanut butter
Preparation

Combine sugar, cocoa, salt and milk.
Mix thoroughly.
Bring to a boil on high heat, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat to medium and continue to boil slowly, stirring gradually, until mixture forms a soft ball when tested in cold water.
Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla.
Let stand until cooled a little. Add peanut butter and beat until fudge thickens.
Pour into slightly buttered pan or platter.
Let cool thoroughly before cutting into squares.
