Strawberry Trifle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 angel food cake, broken into pieces and put in 9 x 13-inch glass pan
    1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    1 c. milk
    1 pt. vanilla ice cream, softened
    1 small pkg. strawberry jello
    1 c. hot or boiling water
    1 pkg. frozen sliced strawberries (16 oz.)
Preparation
    Add jello to water; add frozen strawberries.
    Stir until berries separate and let stand in refrigerator until set, but not thoroughly jelled.
    Spoon over cake and refrigerate.
    Cover with Cool Whip.
