Layered Lettuce Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box frozen peas
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 c. bacon, fried and crumbled
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 head (small) lettuce, shredded
    mayonnaise
Preparation
    Place in bowl in order shown with mayonnaise last.
    Place enough mayonnaise over mixture to cover all, leaving none exposed. Refrigerate for 24 hours.
    Toss before serving.
