Layered Tossed Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce
1 pkg. frozen English peas
1 can (6 oz.) water chestnuts
2/3 c. chopped spring onions
2/3 c. chopped celery
1/2 lb. fried and crumbled bacon
2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. sugar
Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Tear lettuce in small pieces and put in oblong dish.
Add frozen peas, then onion, then celery, chestnuts and bacon.
Cover with mayonnaise and sprinkle sugar over.
Top with Parmesan cheese.
Let set at least 4 hours or overnight in refrigerator. Will keep fresh about 1 week.
