White Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and cook until mixture forms a soft ball in cold water.
    Cool.
    Beat until creamy.
    Add pecans, if desired.
    Pour onto buttered platter and cut into squares when cold.
