Brussels Sprouts Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. Brussels sprouts
    1/2 c. red wine vinegar
    1 1/4 c. salad oil
    2 garlic cloves, chopped
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
    dash of hot sauce
Preparation
    Trim off the hard end of the sprouts. Cut an X in the stem end. Place in a pan of boiling water and cook for 3 to 5 minutes. Drain. Mix together the rest of the ingredients and pour over the hot sprouts. Marinate for 3 to 5 days. Drain and serve.
