Caramel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sour milk
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening; add sugar gradually.
    Add eggs and beat well. Sift flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder together 3 times.
    Add alternately with sour milk.
    Dissolve soda in milk.
    Add vanilla.
