Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. bag loose hash brown potatoes (not patties)
    1 stick butter
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 c. onion, chopped and sauteed in butter
    2 c. grated sharp cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 c. cornflakes
    1/2 stick butter
Preparation
    Mix all but last 2 ingredients and fold into potatoes.
    Add last 1/2 stick butter to cornflakes and sprinkle on top of potato mixture which is placed in a 13 x 9-inch pan before topping.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Test potatoes for doneness.
