Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. margarine or 1/2 c. lard and 1/2 c. margarine (lard is richer, makes a crisper cookie)
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. old-fashioned oatmeal
1 tsp. soda
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

May add chocolate chips, coconut, nuts or raisins.
