Coconut Peppernuts From Aunt Susan Entz - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sweet cream (can take canned milk)
    1 tsp. coconut
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 1/2 c. flour (no more)
Preparation
    Mix and roll into ropes.
    Cut into 1/2-inch pieces and bake 7 minutes in 400\u00b0 oven.
